Ecoframes Retrofit for the future

Ecoframes have been commissioned to provide a ‘Retrofit for the Future’ pod roofs for two properties in Welshpool, Powys. The Properties are owned by Social Landlord Powys County Council. Ecoframes will provide prefabricated ‘roof pods’ to the dwellings with Integrated renewables built in. The Solar Thermal Panels, Photovoltaic Panels and Mechanical Ventilation and Heat Recovery equipment will all be pre-fitted to the ‘Pods’ prior to delivery. The pods will be manufacturered at Ecoframes’ production facility in Welshpool.

Ecoframes build pilot ‘Low Energy’ home

Ecoframes in partnership with Finnforest have manufacturered and constructed one of the country’s first ‘Low Energy’ I joist timber frame homes. The project, which is due for completion next month, was built in Llanfyllin, Powys. designed by Michael Goulden Architects. The new home will require minimum heating due to its superinsulated walls, floor and roof.
