Your bespoke frame will be designed and refined using powerful CAD software enabling you to visualise your frame in 3D, making any key decisions at the initial stages, it can also be a valuable aid in planning other trades such as plumbing and electrics where routing of pipes, cables and ducting etc. should be considered at frame design stage.
The 3D model will detail all information required by the structural engineers enabling them to provide the necessary calculations for building regulations.
Once finalised, the drawings can be used as working drawings for the precise manufacture of your frame.

Timber Frame Design Service
Ecoframes also provides a Timber Frame Design Service to timber frame manufacturers throughout the UK. This service is provided to take clients’ original design through to the final stage of production. Once drawing layouts have been agreed with the client, we then proceed with the design of the wall panels, floor cassettes and roof design. All drawings come complete with calculations and fabrication drawings.
Our latest Consultec timber frame design software allows us to link to automated machinery, i.e. wall/ floor panel machinery and saws.
Our drawings are completed to a high standard indicating all details required to manufacture the particular components. Design of all components is in strict accordance with all our Engineers or if required, your own Engineer.
All our timber frame designs are produced to the highest standards and checked to ensure that they meet TRADA standards as well as achieve NHBC certification, if required.
