Ecoframes is a member of the UK Timber Frame Association, the industry body representing over 85% of UK timber frame manufacturers. The UKTFA helps educate the construction industry, policy makers and the public about timber frame, as well as raising industry standards.
TRADA
Ecoframes is a member of The Timber Research and Development Association, an internationally recognised centre of excellence on the specification and use of timber and wood products. Their aim is to provide members with the highest quality information to enable them to maximise the benefits that timber can provide.
Welsh Timber Forum
The Welsh Timber Forum was founded in September 1999 by a number of individuals working in wood-based industries in Wales. They had the vision of an organisation which could work for them and represent them inside and beyond Wales.
Formally constituted in June 2000, the Welsh Timber Forum aims to represent and support SMEs working with or wishing to work with Welsh timber, by:
- Providing a channel for consultation between the SME sector in Wales and public / private sector organisations.
- Providing a networking and awareness raising opportunity across the breadth of the SME timber sector in Wales.
- Helping develop the Welsh timber supply chain both short and long term and to support marketing of Welsh timber products.
- Developing interaction with colleges and university departments to facilitating and encouraging group projects and activities
Mid Wales Manufacturing Group
The strength and effectiveness of the MWMG lies in its Member Companies, representing manufacturing businesses of all sizes and types right across Mid Wales.
MWMG is a unique organisation being run by manufacturers for manufacturers, run as a private limited company, funded through a combination of membership fees, Public Sector funding and commercial sponsorship.
MWMG offers support to Manufacturing in Mid Wales and campaign to ensure that manufacturers have a voice at local area regional decision-making forums.
ISO 9001:2008, 14001:2004
Ecoframes is currently working towards achieving certification for the Quality and Environmental Management Systems ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004. We believe that these two quality standards ensure that we adopt best practice in our internal systems and satisfy our customer expectations. We expect full certification completion during 2010
